Hi All,
I just picked up my mew satio yesterday, Im wondering is there any way of transterring all the data off my old k750i to my new phone? I have PC Suite and MyPhoneExplorer installed on my laptop. I have given a quick look through this forum and cant see anything

I had that problem with my K850... The best way I've found is through Sony Ericsson themselves. I can't remember what it's called, but you can get a username from their site and sync your 750's memory with it and then sync it again with your Satio. Worked well for me, looks like it does for all Sony phones... Got all my calendar appointments and notes too!

Thanks for the quick replies, I tried that but getting an error (SSO login failed.
Single sign on key already used, timed out or invalid.) on the website when I go to set up sync. I have tried it on IE and Firefox but same problem. Anyone know of a problem with the site at the min?

here is my way of getting all contacts from old sony phone to new works a treat............

hi guys,

I had to transfer my contacts from W995 to SATIO,

I did this, backed up W995 using Sony Erricson suite (SE PC suite)

this creates a file with extenion .dbk

I opened this file with WinRAR and you are looking for contacts.vcf

extact that to your desktop

import this file into Windows Contacts (on pc Im using vista and this is in Start>All Programs)
this imports all your contacts onto your pc

then use SE PC suite to sync contacts from PC to your new phone.

Just been trying that harvy, but the version of PC suite on my computer does not support the k750i!!!! I am currently running the newest version. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the sony ericsson site that is preventing me from backing up there, or is it a problem on my side?

try in the phone backup to memory card and look for similar named file on the mem card i think that works too .i think!

I have been playing about with it in the mean time and have gotten it sorted.

First I used MyPhoneExplorer to export the k750i contacts over to outlook 2003, then connected the satio to PC suite and synchronised the Satio with Outlook, worked a treat
