Was: mxe-60 query
hey there
i used to have a c905 for a few months and loved the camera, the 8.1mp was the main reason i wanted the phone. however after it quite literally dying in my hands twice in the space of about 4 months i rang o2 and got it replaced with a w995. great phone however i feel let down my the so-called flash on the camera. i used to own a w800i and used an mxe-60 external flash with it to compensate for the lack of flash. unfortunately this isnt compatible with my w995. i dont know if this is a long shot but does anyone know of any way of making the w995 compatible? are there patches or things like that for sony ericssons?
cheers

No it's not compatible with any A200 platform phone. There have been many threads made over the last 2 years about this. If you use the Search feature you will find them.
This message was posted from a C905

sorry for posting this on top of the million other mxe related posts...
the led 'flash' has to be one of the major se design faults though, if my k810i had a jack input i would probably put the w995 up on ebay and go back

I guess they like to keep it for the Cyber-shot range. If you want Xenon, Get Cyber-shot. Simple.
I know what you mean though, once you've experienced Xenon flash, there is no going back really.
