I want to use internet and gps without data plan. Can i disable data and a-gps?

well i can use wifi to go on the internet. its just when im using google maps and facebook apps i want to make sure im not using data. Just want to rely on the wifi connection.

You could always erase your data and internet settings to be sure you don't use GPRS/UMTS/HSDPA.

But i want to be able to use internet, just not data. My frds older SE phone has a function to turn of data but on the C905 i dont think there is, or at least not that i am aware of

remove carrier related internet setting. and add wifi configuration.

Im assuming i go to internet settings, and under Connect Using: i delete everything to do with my carrier. And ADD but what are the settings i use?
ALso do i leave allow local connection on YES or NO?

Setting -> Connectivity -> Wifi
ALso do i leave allow local connection on YES or NO?

I deleted the carrier internet settings, but found problems accessing the internet when i did that, so i added them back...
