ok this may have all been said before but i just want to put it here so those that need it can use it.

1) if you connect to WAP using CSD (non-gprs connection) you simply pay for the amount of time you spend online.

2) if you connect to WAP using GPRS you pay for the amount of data recieved ONLY, sent data is not included i believe.

3) you can on ericsson phones (most of them) chose how to connect.
For example on the T-68i there is a: connect/data comm./data accounts menu where you put the accounts you use to connect to data connect...so there you will typically have: one GPRS account and one standard CSD account.

Now that above has nothing to do with WAP. When you go to the: WAP services/options/WAP profiles/ menu you can select your WAP access profile....all this is is the settings to connect to a wap server....in these settings is an option called: Connect Using. This lets you chose how to connect to wap...either using your GPRS or your CSD access thats it.

The same applies to email......in the options you can chose to connect to your mail server using either of your data accounts (you can have more than 2...but 2 is all you need, GPRS and CSD)

Hope that helps, need any more info just shout.

Actually, you may need more than just the 1 GPRS account. Many operators have differently setup GPRS accounts for WAP and Email/Internet connections where they access different APNs.
