> Computer wants to format memory stick!
Bookmark topic
My mother’s Sony Ericsson K800 died (white screen). She’s got some photos on her memory stick (Memory Stick Micro) which she hadn’t backed up recently. I read somewhere that someone with a white screen problem was unable to access their memory card using their PC software. So I loaned her my memory card reader and M2 adapter as I figured there’d be no problem with getting her more recent photos off the memory card.
We’ve tried the memory card reader in two machines: XP and Vista but it comes up with the same message about formatting the card. No way do we want to format the card because we want the data off it.
Unfortunately, we don’t know anyone else who has a K800 or any phone which takes the same memory card to borrow so we get the photos off Mum’s memory card.
Does anyone know of anything else we could try?
Many thanks

Thanks for your reply though I'm afraid I don't know what any of that means.
