> Automated Calls (Virgin Landlines)

Hey All,
Who here if any has a Virgin Media Landline?
if anyone has them I like to know do you get any strange calls
from Automated companys eg, Insurance, banking etc
I keep getting these wierd calls sometimes 2x a day and it's so annoying,
answering listening to some rubbish which if there automated now I just throw the phone down!
When I took out the package I asked to be put X Directory so I have no
idea how these calls are coming through to me, I don't get them on my Mobile and I don't give me
Landline out imnot to familar with its number lol I hardley use it
So anyone here with the same prob let me know

, when i rang them and demanded to know why i was getting these calls she just said its not our fault which is typical of virgin!

Hmm I think i'll call them tomorrow and see what exscuse they give me then
if you demand to go EX directory then you shouldn't get any cold calling or automated calls surely,
I raely give my landline number out, it's on my CV and I doubt the calls could be coming from users of sites such as Monster

Yes my dad is with Virgin and he gets about 3 cold calls or automated rds day. Most are asian people trying to sell stuff from call centres. Some my dad has blocked and all we get is silence on some of them. Annoying
