> Will my phone get repaired?
Bookmark topic
Hi
I have a Sony Ericsson C902. A while ago it started freezing and restarting unexpectedly, even when I tried to charge it. Then the battery wouldn't charge so I gave it to a friend who would charge it for me.
The next day I got it back, but somehow I lost the battery. I then bought another Sony Ericsson battery which was compatible for the phone, but it looked different and said: For K850i/ W580i. Obviously the C902 came out later and the battery appearance was slightly different.
Now I am planning to get the phone repaired on monday from the shop I got it from. Under Sony Ericsson Warranty, it fits all the requirements (to my mind) to be repaired. However it is likely the repair team will notice the battery is not the original that came with the phone; will that break the warranty? It is a Sony Ericsson battery for another phone model, but it is still compatible with the C902.
Also, how much should the repair service cost?
Hope to read your reply soon.
