February 14, 2010 - Barcelona – Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ pro, announced today, adds a QWERTY keyboard to the touch screen offering, delivering a user experience optimised for messaging and entertainment. The full QWERTY keyboard allows consumers to communicate quickly and efficiently via email, SMS or social networking updates.

Just like flagship phone Sony Ericsson Vivaz™, announced in January, Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ pro allows consumers to produce and broadcast their best experiences in HD video. Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ pro features the new design philosophy ’human curvature’, which will become a consistent feature of the Sony Ericsson portfolio going forward. Designed to mirror the shape of the human body, and at the same time delivering a precise and compelling way of interacting with the phone, Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ pro is instantly recognisable.

The keyboard looks like a cheap add-on but its better for the phone because of its relatively small screen. I cant imagine typing on that screen. My satio's screen is just about big enough for me.

Never having personally used Symbian, I'm curious why people don't like it? Is it because it doesn't suit touch screen use very well? Also, surely it couldn't be worse than using A200 on a touchsreen?

Slow and EXTREMELY difficult to use.

Probably more suited to Nokia hardware.

Looks awesome, can not wait untilit is out, will be on my shopping list. Symbian is fine, those that dont like it, have nottried it for long enough. Symbian does have a few things that I do not like, but over all it is as good as any of the others. We all know se80 is not a fan of either the Symbian OS or the Satio, so it was obvious he would not like the Vivaz. The Symbian is not a slow system at all, it copes very well with touch screen and there are plenty of apps for it if you look about. Most 5800 or N97 apps work fine with the Satio.

i might get this but i will miss the satio's screen size as i love watching movies on the satio but texting on it is a pain in the rear side but still the satio is a excellent phone so i will buy the vivaz pro and probably use it as my second handset.

Not really agree with that. I certainly don't think it's slow. In navigation phones like Nokia X6 and Vivaz are a lot faster than almost any Windows Phone. It is hard to use though (though not extremely) and graphical it kinda sucks. Things like mail and no standard Exchange sync quite suck too.

Btw, noticed only now that the lens is more to the top of the phone as compared to Vivaz, which is really good imo
