I currently use a red w995 but want a bigger screen and my iphone does not go to work everyday with me ---I keep it at home and take it when I go out on holidays or use it at home as multimedia -- I was offered a secondhanded(very good conditions, almost new) samsung jet in white, unlocked and simfree from origin per about 100$.
Is it a good idea to replace my w995??
I am waiting for the Vivaz, the mini x10is another possibility,..but this samsung seems like a good offer.
Is it?
I want good music, radio,good screen,sms
Thanks!

The phone is, in general, good, but I think you'll have some trouble with the slower and more complicated interface after the simple and fast W995. Music is okay-ish, but not really good, radio idem and the screen is fabulous. Video playback too, btw. I've a Jet and a C901 here and I'll take the C901 over it for everyday use anytime! Actually only use my jet for video playback.

I'd wait for Vivaz, which should be out any moment. I have one here too and it's faster then Jét and has much more possibilities.

Hehe, yeah. I haven't had a chance to compare them to Vivaz, but I'll post the comparision between the C901 and K850 soon. In the meantime, here's a vivaz pic:

Ow, btw, music is okay. Nothing special, but okay. No eq though and the speaker volume is low and it creaks (or however you spell it )

Different than Jét, but I think a bit less clear. Worse than W995 for shure!

Audio quality seems not so good on the Jet.

Source.

The recent Nokia N series have quite good audio quality. Beating most current SE phones in frequency response. If audio quality is important to you be sure to get one that scores good on the gsmarena test for frequency response and also invest in some really good headphones.

Or just forget those stats and go for real life user experience. Much more important imo....

For me it is very important a phone can output the full spectrum of frequencies, maybe you don't mind losing high, low and mid tones but some of us do
