Gesture Control on the Satio allows you to mute / slience your incoming phonecall or alarm clock by just waving your hand across the camera lense... no need to push any buttons..

Remember, the satio has 2 camera lense... gesture control uses the 2nd lense which is on the front of the phone above the LCD screen (not the 12MP lense on the back)...

you need to enable the above in the settings

I haven't tested the gesture controls so I couldn't comment if they work or not... so... good luck

@MrPhil

You wrong mate!

Satio sensor control work like normal Symbian.
Only thing you can do is flip your phone back then Incoming call will silence and alarm will set to snooze and other is auto rotate
you have to activate it by go to settings > phone > sensor settings > turning control tick it all three available if wanna use it.

You don't have to flip the phone. The sensor is just under the red/green lamp (the one that shine when U have missed call or sms). It's a dark square under it. touch it for a while when U have incoming call

@HxH.. Gesture control means you don't need to touch your phone... it's gesture.

Also, click on the "Gesture Control" menu in here.. http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]eportfolio/specification/satio

Does it mean SE got it wrong? it won't surprise me!

I think that they sey half true. but they didn't say that they think about front camera lens. The sensor is near it so if U move Your hand over lens it will work
