this will be the tip of the ice cream - it will be 100% ridiculous.

Your policy during the second half of 2009 was absolutely wrong. How do you want to share by posting only high class phone 500 euros, and they also came with a huge delay and some almost failed. Hi music_man, i also would like to see some feature phones from SE. I like A200 and would like to see it evolve to something even more complete. However, according to this: its not the end of W series at least.

All this means that the objective which the SE was chasing another. It's not about market share and for focus mainly on high-end devices. This is now another. I did not know that the goal was exactly that and so make myself wrong for the wrong policy.

Well maybe their learning. All the walkman phones realised were just copycat versions with different designs but the exact same features, apart from the flagship phones. The W995 can't really get much better for the time being. Decent media player, decent 8MP camera they don't want to give it a 12MP as this would defeat the point of Cyber-shot. Then the Cyber-shot range, well yes it's a shame, the C905 was such a disaster as it would of been quite neat having two decent Walkman and Cyber-shot phones. Although I suppose the Satio is a Cyber-shot phone, even though it's not branded as one it has a Xenon flash which is only found in Cyber-shot phones but this isn't the nice SE java interface we love.

My guess it they want to move away from this sector and concentrate on iPhone rivals, just look at the 2010 range, it's mostly touch screen. I think this is a step forward, otherwise this year we would have seen maybe 5 new W series phones with crap features worse then the W995.

One thing I never got was that Cyber-shot phones and Walkman phones had the exact same music player, but in the Cyber-shot phones they had more features in the camera. Why did they not give Walkman some unique features as well? the only thing difference is that it's branded as Walkman.

We know that W705 W715, W902, W980 are 3.0 Walkman player, and W995 4.0 Walkman player. But among all these phones there is no difference in the music player. Right? Nот.


3.0 Walkman player (W705 W715, W902, W980) hold Clear Bass, Clear Stereo.

4.0 Walkman Player (W995) has Clear Bass, Clear Stereo and DSEE
