I want to upgrade from my PAYG plan to a sim only plan, the ones with 30 days rolling contract seem nice, I want mobile internet and a lowest price possible. I don't call or text that much, so 100/100 should be enough for me. So far I found T-mobile to give the best value for me:
100 minutes, 100 texts and 1GB of "unlimited" internet. For a tenner a month.
Orange seems to only give 500MB or "unlimited" internet with 30 quid plans. Vodafone doesn't seem to have anything on sim only when it comes to internet access.
Am I missing something here, or do I just go for T-mobile sim only 10 a month + internet booster?
Thanks for any advice anyone has for me regarding this. Maybe there are better sim only providers than the big ones, being on a 3G/UMTS network is needed.

The plan I'm interested in costs 10 a month which already includes the internet booster. You're saying I should change the default booster to say free land line calls, and then for 20 quid I get 6 months internet booster on top?
That sure sounds very good, and their coverage is perfect in the London area. Where do I locate this 6 months deal?

Yes its a good option for you. I think T Mobile have very good 3G coverage. That £20 6 month internet booster is fantastic value.

I know you haven't mentioned O2 but their 'unlimited' data is capped at 250MB so beware if you do take them into consideration

Yeah thanks for that, O2 and Orange are the worst when it comes to data for your money. I will go for the tmobile offer. A tenner a month for 100mins + 100 texts + 1GB of data is not bad at all.

*rolls eyes* Lets not get into the O2 data debate again, but would people please stop misadvising other people about O2's data limits? It's 500MB on Pay as you go, unlimited on simplicity & contract. I'm leaving it at that before this turns into another flame war where no matter what I say I'm wrong automatically, even though none of you actually work for said company....

Agreed, it is actually quite pathetic. I would reccomend Vdaofone they will mix and match, when I first got one, last April, I got 500 mins, unlimited texts and internet for £15 a month (rolling 30 day like you want).
Haggle, haggling is the way

I am on a 12 month Simplicity Plan with 'Unlimited' data I have been cut off twice now since September for going over the 250MB 'Unlimited' data allowance, how do I know it is capped at 250MB because I have spent hours on the phone trying to get the issue resolved, but as I am in a 12 month contract there ain't a lot I can do other than watch I don't go over the 250MB limit which on an Android device is a pretty sad thing to do.
I may not work for O2 but I can read black and white and my hearing functions perfectly well.
@Daedalus85 You work for O2 perhaps you can ensure I get the 'Unlimited' Data I am entitled to and you keep harping on about???
