hi guys, i have the satio, upgraded from the g900.
what i'm after is the g900 notes app to go on the satio, with this you could write notes on the screen, you can't with the notes on the satio, is there an app for this?
thanks.

I think this can't be ported to Symbian S60 5th. It's possible to do it from UIQ to UIQ AFAIK.

That was one of the features that really made me want a G900 except it was barely released in UK and with minimal support and I've been looking for an App to do asimilar function on my N97 for a while.
I don't really have any good news for you and generally I only look inside Nokia's Ovi store becasue I don't want to download unsigned apps that could introduce even more instability into an already very shaky handset (i'm fed up spending a half a day + rebuilding the little @*%$ every time).
However you may be able to find them outside of Ovi or have hacked your Satio.
The within S60 there are two notes Notes and Active Notes (media-centric) which can have alarms, be incorporated into cal/to do etc. but have to use S60 inputs, key pad or handwriting recog ie doesn't support handwritten notes (which was trhe thing I loved about the UIQ app could make quick squiggle if arrfanging to meet someone say and then tidy it up in the calendar at a later date when had more time or more hands free etc.
I've put on my front screen something called Sticky Notes by Offscreen Technologies - they do an awful lot of fairly basic apps on OVi. It's just a virtual notice board with post-it-notes but can scribblesomething down and come back to it later however it's nothing like as sophisticated as the lost UIQ app (get hacking/developing someone cos I thought it was a great/killer feature)
One alternative could be Evernote which wouldn't be handwritten but could be spoken or photo with note to be organised later and accessed though any device platform you have or even using Vlingo or the Google App to write notes by voice (not sure if the google app can do that on S60)
