I suggest you to check the sim which is not working. It might be bent a little or contactors might worn out.

No, there's nothing wrong with the sim. I've tried digicel sim cards and those work well, but sims from other providers dont work. The phone is also not sim locked. Its kinda difficult to explain my prob. Its like this:
Where i live, i have 3 providers: Digicel, Uniqa, Telesur (i know they aren't very popular). Now my prob: The phone reads only ONE sim from telesur (other sim cards from telesur doesnt work), not a single one from uniqa, and digicel works great......Soo does anyone have a solution for this? I've searched alot and i think that this is a very common prob regarding the k850.

p.s sorry for my english

No thats not the comman problem with K850i. Try inserting another sim from the same provider, may be your friend's sim.

3 sims from the same provider and none works, this is weird and something new....
probably the sim is a bit thinner from the standard one (just assuming), try to insert the sim together with a thin piece of paper (behind the sim)

go to "Mobile networks" in the "Connectivity" menu and choose "Automatic" in the "Search mode" and if that doesn't help try the "New search", hopefully the phone will detect the said provider...
