> Vivaz - Geotagging and firmware version

Has anyone been able to get Geotagging to work on their Vivaz? I get the satellite icon when taking a photo, but when I view the photo in Preview on my Mac or upload it to Picasa, there is no GPS metadata in the image.
Perhaps the firmware needs updating, is anyone able to check what version they are running? I'm on 1224-4669_R2AA029 dated 07-02-10

i didn't tried on satio yet but it will be like on other phones that you have to wait to get gps fix. And its logical lol. Open gps wait till you get gps signal and then make a photo.

It does work on the Satio, but bear in mind that it's not enough to turn the geotagging on, you must have contact with at least 3 GPS satellites in order to get a GPS position. Hence, you must be outdoor or close to a window, and you should check with the other available positioning software in the phone that you have a GPS positionsing active before tou take thew photo.
On the Satio, there is no possibility to see the geo tags in a taken photo, there is not trace of it in the picture or in the picture information, but it's available as meta data if you transfer the picture to a computer.
