> Vivaz PRO or Nokia N900

Ok guys what are your opinions?
apart from HD recording the Vivaz PRO and N900 are similar in power and Maemo (N900) is said to be better and more powerful than Symbian. I am not really bothered about 720p HD recording so not sure whether to stick with S60 or change over to Maemo.

It's all about what you're going to do with your phone. Maemo5 is great for people, who love to develop apps for their phones (like Linux users on PC), but, originating as an internet tablet, it isn't ready yet for all funcions of a "normal" (smart)phone. For instance : it can't send MMS (yet).

Initially the main reason i wanted a Symbian phone was because of emulators like ScummVM, MameXM, Gameboy etc.. i also wanted to stay faithfull to Sony Ericsson, so i bought the Satio. Although ScummVM and MameXM work very well i felt the lack of hard keys would be a problem as Satio is not multitouch
and virtual keys are a pain sometimes and take up half the screen. I considerd the Vivaz PRO because of hard keys and the keeping of Sony Ericsson BUT... i get the feeling S60V5 is being left behind, and worse still Sony have dissalowed us to use HelloOx now
The only other option was N900 as the processor and graphics card is same as Satio and Maemo5 has a lot more emulators and cool apps available.

After much thought i have decided to stay with Sony Ericsson (not that anyone cares)
Sony Ericsson works for me and for the sake of one or two apps WHY CHANGE???
I have had no problems with the phone since i bought it in OCT09 and the recently purchased 1800Mah battery gives me an extra dayish to work with.
I may still get the Vivaz PRO as a spare handset BUT i would like the next sony phone to be Symbian ^3 Or Maemo like the very considered N900 was..
