Is there any other software like this one that backs up almost everything on the phone but works with the SE T300? The one on christersson doesn't work for the t300=[

you can backup basically everything on your t300 without any software..
although you can't manage them using software..
using a infra red port u can jus send the phonebook, ringtones, pictures, themes all to the pc

sorry but i guess we can't backup sms messages and the other settings without software..

I have a dcu-10 cable. The only software I can get to work is the sendfile program from christiansson.org on windows xp. What would I use to save all that you've mentioned?

the 'handset manager' supplied with the USB data cable from mobileaction can backup your phonebook and messages.

the handset manager only works with the cable and not with native IrDA :/

Hi guys,

I've found a way to backup your phone book from your T300:)!

Just go on your T300 to Phone Book > Advanced > Send all. (You'll need a computer connection [cable/IrDa])

There will be a file transferred to your computer (it was on my desktop) named Whole Phonebook.vcf.
Do NOT try to import this backup file with Outlook or something! (believe me, I tried and it only imports the first contact)

If you want to restore the backup (for example after a Master Reset) just rightclick on the backup file (there must be a computer connection [cable/IrDa]) and send it to your T300 as if it was an image or a game or a ringtone.

NOTE: If you restore the backup while the contacts are still on the T300, duplicates will be added.

You can take a backup of everything except the wap profiles in the T300 with my program. You need to update the MPM software - check at www.sonyericsson.com.

I've try but the T300 wasn't saw by the MPM. Maybe I have to try the new version as you say...

You can import the wholephonebook.vcf into Outlook Express address book, and then manage it from there, or you can then import this address book into Outlook.

wich version MPM do I need? There's no specific version for t300
