Just wondering has anyone tried their X10 with a bluetooth car kit?
Does the phonebook sync?
Does the call list sync?
Does the streaming music work ok?
Is it stable?

I have synced it to my Audis system, but the cars system can only sync the phonebook.
Making calls works as it should, so far.

But swedish national characters gets messed up, replaced by other letters.

Hi

I have mine attached to my Ford Mondeo Bluetooth and it works fine.

You don't get the ringtone coming through the car, you just get generic; (same as my W995 & C905) ringtone as wll as handset playing whatever has been set.
You can access the Phonebook and now names are displayed with a H (Home), M (Mobile), W (Work) etc, if recognised, (Unlike W995 & C905 which just displayed name).
I can not access 'Last Incoming' or 'Last Outgoing' information, (Unlike my W995 & C905).
I cane not get music (same as my W995 & C905).

Other than that it works a treat !!

I'm using Venturi bluetooth car kit. I can connect to the kit the same way as my X1 can including phonebook.

I have one question. The venturi car kit comes with USB port where you can charge your phone. I use this to charge my X1 before. However, when I connect the USB cable that comes with X10, the phone is not charging. anybody know why ? isn't the USB cable supplied is a normal cable that should provide 5V to the phone ? I can charge the phone if I use PC. why can't I do that with Venturi ?

I have Xperia X2 and I was very frustrated that it DOES NOT have Bluetooth rSAP (remote SIM access profile) - so it can NOT be used with any modern car Bluetooth hands free system (Mercedes SAP V3 module does not pair for sure!).

I am just curious if X10 supports rSAP - can anyone who have X10 check his Bluetooth profiles and advise whenever X10 have SAP (or rSAP) profile or not ?

A quick question, does anyone else have a more basic BT kit like the HCB 300 that I have? If so just wondering if this works, and what audio gets through the speakers and what goes through the phone? During my brief flirtation with an N82 the Nokia Maps instructions came through the speakers but Wayfinder on the C905 come through the Handset...Not very helpful in a noisy car. But thankfully all speech still handled by the car speakers so at least calls are easy.

Thanks for your help..

Dear all I just found this whilst looking for a 3rd party app to sort out BT Voice Dialing:

Maybe if enough people sign up, they'll have to consider doing something??
