Hi
I have been following the instructions contained within
this link to try and install the HTC Keyboard.
I get as far as Extracting the files and it says I need to copy a file called ' htcime ' into sd root directory.
First, I don't have a file called ' htcime ' and second, where is the SD root directory?
I really want this Keyboard, can someone with a little more knowledge, revamp the instructions and sort the process out.

Hi woz!
check out
here at se-nse for a guide.
MikSLP has written a great guide, and he is very helpful at both
se-nse and here at Esato.

@woz .... the latest version (v2.4) doesn't have a htcime file ....
put the clicker_hi and the htcime_hi in any old folder and then use
an app installer in the phone itself (astro ?)

Not loving it to be honest. Using variations on vowels (eg ä, å ö etc) is not a great UX with having to keep the finger or thumb on the screen and the auto correct / suggestion dashboard covers the text input field so I cannot see what I last wrote.
Am hoping SE come up with a superior upgrade for their keyboard cos IMO the HTC version isn't the answer either.

I have now updated my
tutorial for the latest version of jonasl's keyboard. I hadn't checked for updates and so didn't realise the file names had changed.

Sussed it !!
Took me ages to realise that I can't see folders put in to phone whilst the USB Conection is mounted. Once I disconnected and then looked through phone with file manager..... Super !!
Thanks for the help.
