> Problems adding contacts to Vivaz
Bookmark topic
I have just purchased a Vivaz and when I am entering my contacts it only gives me the option to add a mobile number. How do i add multiple numbers ie home, work etc under the same contact name. Am sure there is a simple solution and i am probably being a bit thick but would be grateful for some help

When editing the contact press - Options -> Add detail and select which field you want to add.

Not sure what's wrong there. I'm a Satio user and have dozens of fields to choose from. I would have thought the Vivaz would be exactly the same. Is your Vivaz branded?

I have also a problem in contacts
the older P990i I had , or in another meaning the UIQ 3.0 which was made by
was the best phonebook interface I had
in VIVAZ , the compnay name characters are limited to 50 characters
it might be too much for many of you , but it still an obstacle for me for too much contacts , whcih wasn't in my older P990i
the other problem is the number syntax
in P990i my work number was like correct like this +965 XXXXXXXX x yyy
while in VIVAZ you can't seperate the calling code for the individual number rather than the extension number ! it is liek this +965XXXXXXXXyyy
you can't view the big fields data , you have to EDIT them to preview
it is SonyEricsson problem that they used S60v5 as they got it from NOKIA

you should be able to put a "pause" instead of space! like this =965xxxxxxxxxxpyyy
havent got my Vivaz on me, but i think you get the "p" by a long press on either the star key or zero

@ Zyavar
Thanks for telling me about the "pause" "p" , but I think you didn't get what I was saying
the pause is useful for calling when you have to enter extension numbers for example
what I ment Zyavar , is the S60v5 phonebook isn't powerful like the UIQ 3.0 in functionality

Beside Zavyar ,
I wanted to have X10 instead of VIVAZ , it has more vital phonebook
but my main problem was language support
I'm from Kuwait , and my VIVAZ support 6 langauges and I'm using 3 of them
Arabic & Persian in addtion to English While Android support English only
I know its not SonyEricsson problem because that is Android bug !
and few minutes ago I cheked thier official developer websites , they are working on Arabic langauge support
but no clue about the Persian langauge , I'll wait for WM7 and see what it well do or I'll have to wait for couple years tell some improving happening
