> Connecting internet to X10 via laptop

Hello!
Is there anyway to share my laptop internet with X10 via wifi? I used to share my DSL connection on my laptop with my ex-iPhone through adhoc internet connection but I can't seem to be able to do that with X-10.
Also I am unable to update my phone's software/firmware via USB. How do I do that?
