Everytime I try to install a java application on my wife's k800i I get the message 'operation failed'. I am sure I am doing things correctly because I do the same thing with my c902 and it works fine. Any ideas?

It is because something might corrupted in java. You need to reflash your k800i.

1. Flash Main, File System and CDA.
2. Set Windows to show hidden files/folders, connect phone in mass storage mode, open
Phone card > System > ams -> delete all files/folders.
