When looking into customising the new MAC I'm getting there is an optional Bluetooth connection. It doesn't give a whole lot of information on it though. Does anyone know what all it can do?

If you're getting a desktop Mac, I suggest you get the bluetooth option, as you can't add this as an internal option later. If you chagne your mind and want bluetooth later, you'll need to buy an external adapter, which will take up a usb port.
Bluetooth is very handy, specially if you have T68 as you can use it to sync the phone with your addressbook and calendar, and also use the phone as a modem if you ever needed to. You can also send and receive files to and from the phone. In the future, you'll probably be able to do more things with bluetooth, too.

Definitly get the bluetooth option. The T68i has been the main phone Apple has been using to add bluetooth cell phone features to the Mac. Beyond easy address and calendar syncs, you also get some minor, but nice features. If you get a call, the Address Book program can display the name and picture of the caller, and give you an option to answer, bounce it to voice mail, or send the caller an SMS message.
Also, the sync program can keep your phone numbers all togther between your phone, computer, palm, and the .Mac website.
And the nice thing is, all it took me to set it up was to plug in the USB bluetooth adaptor, turn on Bluetooth on the phone, and do the normal discovery. Haven't had much luck with Bluetooth on the Windows side yet, as it's not all standardized yet.

I would like to add I have been using my 1 GHz TiBook to access the net via the T68i using Bluetooth and each time it connects like a charm. Makes me feel that the T68i and the Macs are made for each other
Has anyone tried using a TiBook (or any Mac) to connect to the net using a Nokia Communicator 9210i? Best wishes, kayes.
