Hi, im using k800i from since 3years.my screen is getting dark compared to the new phone(c510).Is this problem related the age factor or due to firmware...?Im using R8BF003 firmware.Does my screen perform better if i update display drivers..?

Is it possible to install LCD SW version-200904270 on k800i (R8BF003)...? The current LCD SW version on R8BF003 is 200711221.

This IS NOT the LCD version but the driver version

Unnecessary to replace the software because the display hardware is grows old. The same one will happen with the newer models.

when you're prompted to install the drivers, choose the "specify location" option and browse to the folder in which you've unzipped the drivers.
Sony Ericsson Mobile Networking Wizard: Driver to setup your K800i as modem to connect to the Internet.
Sony Ericsson Sync Station: Program for synchronizing your Microsoft Outlook™ calendar and contacts with your phone.
Sony Ericsson File Manager: Allows you to browse the contents of the mobile device file system and exchange multimedia files between the mobile device and the PC.
You can use either Sony Ericsson K800i data cable, infrared or bluetooth to connect to you phone prior to install the driver. After installing the driver, you may need to restart your PC for the new driver to take effect.
