im able to make phone calls, and i am paying the 6.99 for the 1mb of gprs use. all i need is the settings, like the ip, apn and all them other information.
hopefully you guys understand my pain, i call them and i feel like an idiot, because the people i have talked to so far seems less used to cingular and phones then i am.

the thing is that i have an t-mobil phone, that is unlocked. does any1 have a t-mobil phone that is unlocked who used cingular gprs service in the cali area.. i have tried to put in all the numbers that you guys direct me to, but with out help, i get the error that says gprs parameters not supported. what does that mean, does that mean that i can not use the gprs on this phone if its not with a cingular phone.
any suggestion would help, the cingular stores does not wanna help because they dont know much, and the 611 costumer care cant help, so you guys are my only resource.
also if i feel i have been misstreated in a cingular store, do they have a number i can call and complain?
thanx for all your inputs.

Hey, If you're in So. Cali, try to meet me somewhere. I should be able to help you out on it... My T68i works with those settings and they've been applied to a Panasonic GD87 and Nokia 7210 too without any problems. Let me know.
Rich.

thanx for you input, i will try a little more with the gprs settings, and hopefully it will work. i think i will call up t-mobile also and ask them if its possible, because t-mobile seems a little better in costumer care then cingular. I am located in S.F. Bay Area.

True... I don't know what is it with Cingular trying to keep us from knowing their GPRS settings like it's some type of Top Secret info.. I have my complaints about them and I'm an employee of Cingular!!!!
