Hi all,
I'm a new owner of an X10i, moving from the Nexus 1 which I accidentally dropped on the floor!
The phone is ok - but I'm a little disappointed by the screen after reading so often how beautiful it is. The colours seem a little washed out to me, especially compared to the Nexus 1. I know it's not an OLED screen, so I did some investigating and found out that Android 1.6 limits the colours displayed to 65k. Could this be the cause of a not very vibrant display, or not?
I was therefore wondering that when (if!) the phone is upgraded to Android 2.1, will that then remove the limit on the colours displayed? Would it provide a noticeable difference?
The messaging application is nicer looking than the Nexus 1, but the icons and wallpaper don't seem as sharp or as vibrant - am I the only one who thinks this?
Please don't think I'm knocking the phone - I actually quite like it (especially the camera), it's just something I'm wondering as I get settled in with it!
Cheers!

as Mano82 said, i like the screen but i had an w960 before it had less or equal the colors as the x10i, i find minte to have really nice colors and depth. and the angle you can see the screen and how clear and sharp, its amasing. but then again i have never used n1 and a oled screen before. i am super pleased with the x10 =)
