I'll be buying a 2nd Hand/Pre owned k800i this coming June 10,2010 and would have to know your ideas on what drivers are okay. I've been searching about these drivers, I did find some great drivers from modders like number 1 and more.

but, my concern is, I still don't know the specs of the phone i'll be getting since the owner barely uses the phone and has no idea about modding. I'll post additional info once I get the phone.

I would like to improve the camera (for pictures), video (can we upgrade it to QVGA instead? and 35fps if its good), i also would like to change the UI to mimic the k810i's and lastly the sound driver so that it would be louder.

If there's anything better to modd for my phone, would really appreciate. thank you.

You can have the K810 firmware in the K800. Just flash it using the K810 firmware. They're basically the same. Also, you can have patches, elf's, etc to pimp your phone. I would recommend you Raiderski's camdriver for k790/800/810 phones.

about the 'elf patches'.. what do you mean? i don't understand.

So about the flashing from k800 - k810i,, are there still bugs that need to be patched?
If so, do you mean I can just choose any latest k810i FW and flash it?

about other drivers...any idea what's good for the sound and vid recording?is the 35fps camdriver nice?

I saw a post about raiderski's camdrivers..its a mixture from number 1's right? thanks. wil DL that:)

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any camdriver mod that can raise the k800i's res to QVGA video. I suspect the hardware may not support it.

much appreciated. I guess I was just making up the QCIF o QVGA upgrade. my bad :>

What I would really like is the upgrade from the stock video recording to 35fps as suggested on youtube videos I saw?
Is the 35fps real, and if so, do you have any drivers I could use? Thanks.

The reason I asked for tips is because some drivers I saw were still dated back 2008..and its already 2 years after that. just not sure if i'll be getting the freshest mods and stuff. Thanks guys. Will keep you posted as to phone specs:)
