Hi i own a K800i for more than a year now. since recently my mobile is facing this problem where the battery drains very quick. that is, in about 2 or 3 hours the mobile is completly drained. and when i connect to the charger it completely gets charged in less than 15mins. Is my battery Dead ?

should i go for a new battery ?

1. If YES, then is there an alternative to BST 33, i mean any powerful battery with extra "maH" like 1500maH or something ? or should i only go for BST-33 ?

2. How do differentiate from ORIGINAL battrey to the DUPLICATE one ? i tend to buy from local store and i believe there are many duplicate products here

3. And if there is any possible way of recovering the battery, please let me Know.

I need this problem resolved soon, please help me ...

using phone while charging can reduce your battery life, also in full volume and brightness.

and some i hear.

they put the battery in the freezer in the refrigerator.
(i dont know if this is true) but you can google it.

I'm still using the original battery ( the one that came with the mobile ) but discharging in 3 hours is something i cant digest.

Is there any high power battery from sony ? like 1500maH ?

I use elves but only the standBy elf, alt tab elf and the manager elf nothing other than that. It was stable before but since few days its getting discharged soon.

Not only that its gets charged from 3% to 97% in less than 3 mins. and after removing the charger it gets back to some 13% and still lower.

Is it that the battery is dead ?

I want to buy one. and the refrigerator trick ? sony says its a MITH
