Hi..

I have a problem (or misunderstanding)

I have K9 email app (meant to be the best (?))

I have got it working, however... why do the emails get deleted when I press “Load up to 50 more” or "send/receive" again?

K9 is deleting unread and read messages and it doesnt seem to matter what I set my “when i delete a message” server setting as.

Help would be appreciated.

I am going crazy trying to fix this

If your emails are not deleted can you let me know please. As I am unsure whether this is normal or not

Are you using Pop3 mail in a computer for the same email which configured to the phone?

I have used several accounts and each one is the same... after a refresh or sending/receiving again the previously downloaded ones get removed, whether read or not

Im using K9 too, and I face the same thing, but I know why.

I have one email address which I configured to Outlook POP3 on my laptop.
And same email to My X10 on K9 as IMAP

When im not using computer all the email will display in my phone. but when ever I use computer those emails will download to pc and remove mail server copy(pop3) so after this when I refresh K9 it simply delete my phone emails and show only pending again. and so on....


Im sure there are 2 techniques called push and pull and configs related to this process in K9.
