In SE K810i, whenever any application is downloaded from the web, it installs it but never saves the setup file (.JAR) file.
Is it possible to retrieve the JAR file once the app is installed? By retrieving, I mean, to expose the setup file so that I can move it elsewhere.

With this patch can:

Code:;K810 SW-R8BA024
;Allow transfer of java applications from e/system/ams
;(p) centur
+44140000

00E5C498: 9847051C 00250D60

Use MobyExplorer or hacked Opera Mini and make visible folder System in Memory card, then open AMS and can copy *.jar file(s) on games/applications.

@centur: What is that patch? Some meaningless deep sarcasm?
I used MobyExplorer 3.0. I first unhide the system folder. Then when I selected ams folder within it, MobyExplorer displays an error
Access to the file system was denied. Please make sure that you set the access permissions on MobyExplorer to allow file read and write access. Please consult your phone manual for how to do this. Disconnecting file system.

I've properly set the access permissions. How else would I navigate to that folder?
I can't change the settings of ams folder. The Properties of the folder aren't displayed.

That patch will let you go through that folder. You just need to apply that patch to your phone. JUST IF YOUR FIRMWARE VERSION IS R8BA024.
