So, now after i have used the Xperia X2 with the latest MR2-update for more than a month, there are still bugs that are annoying me. So it's time to start a new thread to bring up these issues, and collect a list what should be fixed. If you want to see my "blog" from the older version, then check this thread

Slow start: The phone starts still too slow in my opinion. Occasionally I have to reboot the phone because of hanging in the middle of a phonecall. Booting up the phone takes "ages"!! The PIN-code screen shows up much faster than in previous releases, but there is no point in it because you can't punch in the numbers.. After the PIN-screen, it takes again too long to get the phone-functionality working!
Starting apps, moving around is not quick enough. Also the SPB-mobile shell eats loads of resources. Why can't SPB optimize this skin, instead of bloating it.. Also just checked which WinMo builds are supported, and according to the SPB site (17.6.2010), it's supports just 6.5 roms, and not 6.5.3...
Email: I have set up 4 imap-accounts with quite large mail-volumes in 2 of them. I wonder when i will get my memory filled up, because i can't set the storage-location of the messages (i can set for attachments). At some point i'll get in trouble when the memory fills up..
Battery-life! This is really ridiculous. To be able to use my phone normally for one workingday, i need to keep the charger with me the whole day. During the day, i don't have to read my mail, or use the screen, but i need to talk a lot. After leaving to my office after 9 o'clock, and returning around 17.00, the phone usually dies on the way back home. What i know about my previous phone (k800i), using 3G for talking, kills the battery in no time. What i want is an option to turn off 3G if i'm not using it (mainly for data-transfers etc). I'm not sure where exactly i could do this...
Hangs: The phone hangs every now and then, and i can't just sit and wait if it recovers for some reason. Mobile shell freezes, and the only solution is to reboot the phone.
Cracks in case. I have two phones: One black and one Silver. I noticed that the cover of the black version is a bit more tight than the Silver version. This seems to bring issues like cracks around the place where the cover is attached to the phone (i'll post the link later). Again, this seems to be a problem with the Black X2
When hanging up a phonecall, the phone makes three loud beeps via the rear speaker. WHY???
If using the key-lock (start->lock-button) without a pin-password, the unlock-process get's messed up every now and then. Sliding the lock-button to either direction does not result in any desired result. The phone remains locked. Sometimes i get the request to enter the unlock-code, even if it's not set. Solution: Remove the battery and restart the phone.
Yesterday (19 June 2010) The phone simply died, and I had to remove the battery. Starting the phone, deleted all email-accounts, all imap-folder subscriptions etc. I can read all my sms:s via the threaded view, but switching it to normal view, displays just 3 messages stored on the SIM-card... All decent backup-programs i found (SMS-Export, pim-backup) can't find any messages to back up...F*ck! This really sucks! I lost all my messages... again!
If using Call Waiting, then an incoming call messes really up the phone's speaker-system. It switches between the real-speaker and the earpiece and back. People standing next to me are hearing parts of the discussion via the rear speaker each time the "knocking signal" is heard. During this time, i usually miss what the person is talking to me! This is probably most annoying everyday-bug til now!
CORRUPTED MEMORY-CARD! Shit.. I forgot to add the patch that's available on the XDA-Developers forum for turing off the power-save features on the SD-card reader. This time i lost EVERYTHING, I could not even recover the most precious images from my own wedding! Crap.. Can't say anything else than i'm currently really pissed off..
The phone randomly reboots! This has happened me several times during the last week.
The touch-screen is just worthless. You can't move around it with the same hand that holds the phone. Everytime you swipe or move around the screen with your thumb, the phone regonizes it as taps, doubletaps etc. Here I almost always need to use the stylo!!!
The phone seems to have trouble finding the difference in similar phonenumbers. I have a contact that has thes numbers:
+358 9 123 4567
+358 400 123 4567
A couple of times when dialing the first numer, i end up having my contact picing up in the second number...
Heat, LOTS of HEAT. The phone get's sometimes soo darn hot, that i could fry eggs on it. I'm just waiting for the darn thing to catch fire. I'm serious. This is not just a joke, or a commet about a warm phone. It really get's so hot that it's getting unconfortable to hold it. This problem has not always to do when charging the phone. Sometiles it's during a call, or when having the phone next to you in your car. I wonder if it's the radio-part of the phone that pumps up the heat when driving around! Unfortunately i don't own such a thermometer that i could check how hot the phone gets...!

I'll start again to keep this new "blog" up2date. If you want me to add problems you have discussed, then just reply to this thread, or send me a message..

Here also few weeks after MR2 upgrade.

Impressions:
1. Finally I fully switched to X2 from X1. Felt like I can finally trust the device and did not regret.
2. Memory card issue perfectly fixed by marvelous XDA Developers is a biggest SE shame. They were not able to fix it through 2 firmwares and guy from xda did it in 5 minutes. A shame to the company - dickheads!!!!!
3. Sms ring issue: it does ring but always cuts the sound - a joke? Again shame for the company.
4. As for speed, booting, battery ect. I'm very happy. In my case boots normal - like X1, battery lasts nice. Speed is very OK...
5. The device is pleasure to use.
6. Occassionally freezes or reboots and I completely have no idea why.
This however may be WM thing. As I read, many other devices today are plagued by serious software issues bigger than X2..... I remember my X1 rebooting few times and that thing never happened again.....

Issues exist however device meets finally my expectations, now I know why I bought this. No other smartphone..... And WM 6.5.3 is great at least in SE visual version.

And BTW I immediately got rid of Spb saving a lot of memory.

One last thing: it's so stupid to have so much less internal storage and application RAM on X2. I Have 2 x more of both on my X1.

I agree that the phone is great after all the mess before! But again trying to master it quickly is just a PITA...

Here i think that the SPB-shell is a great memory-eating monster.. That should be fixed in some way!

Why could SE not put an OLED display instead?? That would save the battery from draining out..

Do you btw use the 3G-network, or do you use just GSM+GPRS?

3G all the time!
My phones were always my pocket computers, fast internet was always a must for me.
