Hey guys! I hope you could help me out with something.
So I have this Sony Erricsson w660i phone, great little thing, tons of functions and very sturdy! till now...
So yesterday, all of a sudden, the screen started to act weird, turning all green and red at random times. A few hours later, the screen started to turn black every now and then (black, but still lightened though) You can still use all the functions, but you cannot see anything. and this morning, the screen just stays black. Now I have heard of several blank screen cases, but my screen turns black, so I figured it could be something else. Maybe not. Im not an expert So anyway, I basically think there are 2 possible solutions: buy a new screen (replacing it shouldnt be too difficult) or firmware update.
So what do you guys think? is my phone dead? or is there still hope?
ps: yes, I did try turning it on/off, removing battery.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
