Hello all,

I recently purchased a foreign Sony Ericsson C903 Cybershot Phone. What I'm wondering is how to enable Threaded-View SMS? I have tried a couple of ways my friends have suggested; Menu>Inbox> Press right arrow key. But there seems to be no option still of threaded view? Am I the one not doing it properly or is it a faulty mobile?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Scott.

Some firmware variants on Sony Ericsson just don't have it, quite inexplicably. My Aino doesn't have it even though most people's Ainos do. It is stupid and I don't understand it, but it is not a fault with your phone.

Oh ok, Thank you for that, I'm glad I didnt buy a faulty phone I'm disappointed I don't have Threaded view SMS though, that was the selling point for me -__-* oh well, do you think I could take it into a Vodafone store here in NZ to get the firmware installed?

I'm from NZ too mate, and that certainly won't happen. Vodafone's official line is "if your phone is imported, then we can't help you". I don't believe Vodafone NZ flashes phones themselves anyway.

You can change your firmware to a different region, but it requires a bit of research and technically it is hacking your phone, which will void any warranty you might have.

I see... I got the phone off TradeMe That all sounds a bit complicated, I could try the innocent "I bought it off trademe, I dont know if its foreign or not?" lol I'm useless with firmwares etc so I'd probably end up blowing the phone up if I tried installing it myself :S do you think i could try a mobile repair shop? Ihear they do stuff like that
