do you have pc? Just connect your phone in the mass storage mode with your pc and copy all the folders to your pc first and then into the new card.be sure you have activate on pc the option to show you hidden folders before you do the transfer tho.btw i hope your new card will be good i had got 2 16gb cards and both made after a while problems on my phone (i guess opera mobile was crashing with those cards after a month or so but i'm not sure.)

Stefdag hit the nail on the head. You don't need to clone the card as such. Clone would usually mean to "ghost" or "image" the entire card, however all applications settings etc will work fine if you just drag and drop everything from the old card to the new card. (as stefdag says, make sure you can view hidden and system files first).

I upgraded my 8GB card to a 16GB recently this way.

well i did that after i asked the qustion, but the java files didnt show upp (games and apps). So needed to reinstall them but they where already there :/ but didnt show up. So i reinstalled again. Only java. I see sis has no problem with drag and drop.. And what are your transfer speeds? lets say about 300mb music - what speed?

that's odd, I've never had that problem with java? Did you definitely unhide hidden and protected system files?

My transfer speed is about 20MB/s using card readers. I don't generally use the cable. For small transfers I use wifi (and mount the Satio as a NAS device using SymNC)

A way around it would be to use the Ghost utility off the Hiren's boot disk - with that you can image the entire card, and restore it to another card (you can increase the partition size when you restore so that it uses all the capacity of the new card)
