Hello guys,

This is my first post, and y hope this hasn't been answered yet, because i've tried to find the solution but it was impossible.

I own a C905 and a Xperia x10 mini. I enjoy the x10 mini but the C905's camera is with difference the best, so i'd like to know if there is a way of turning on the phone and use it as a camera and music player but without simcard, so that i can take it when i go somewhere and i want to take some pics...

Let's say i have 2 phones and i'd like to have both at the same time...

thank you in advance!

The easiest way is to use an old, expired simcard. The phone won't be able to find a signal, but all other functions will work. Don't you have one lying around, or maybe a friend or family member ?

If I remember right, you can use flight mode. The battery lasts longer then also as it's not searching for a signal.

If i use flight mode, it still asks for a simcard, maybe an old simcard can work, but i don't have any. Applying a patch would be great, i've never done that, is it difficult?

@chamanx
If you never do this b4, I will recommend you to find a old simcard.
Can you post some photos from x10 mini? The quality seems okay from the link.

Yes, quality is good, but my C905 camera has many more options and in poor light conditions, xenon flash is really helpful... With x10 mini photos are blurry at night, but during the day, no problem.

You'll find a sim card somewhere. Sometimes your provider will give you a new one if you say the old one is damaged and isn't working properly.
