Hi, I confused from my Elm - 5Mpix camera, but my photos are about 500kB, maybe less...just like in my old (2Mpix) k750i. And then, I read here in "List of CMOS and CCD Sensors..." thread, that Elm and Hazel have ISX006 senzor from Sony, which supports 1080p (30fps) and 720p (60fps).
I quess, all these (video) restrictions are because of small buffer. But there could be some possibilities for modding.
My question is - can anyone from at least a bit experienced modders try to change the compression at photos and maybe try to play with videorecording? I can test it. Original camdriver can be found na 4shared or I can send it (but not the last version).
EDIT: Strange conclusion for me - I tried to change any values and camera didn't work. Suddenly I found, I have no backup. What seems even more strange - uploaded 2 original drivers (by brazzuka) had no effect...via omnius or sefp plugin. Elm returns back to menu before it can reach camera interface. This is something like warning.

Just tacking on my number one wish for an Elm cam hack if anyone ever tries to make an enhanced driver for it. After seeing how Raider's camdriver enhanced the K800i shots, I'd like to see one that compensates for the Elm's difficulty in taking good lowlight/nightshots.

I would prefer SEFP2 plugin + FAR manager. It's easier. In omnius, I have to make xml file, put in on folder structure tpa/preset/custom, all this put in zip file. After that, I have to choose the camdriver, upload it into phone's folder called other. After that, I have to start omnius, chose the zip file and finally, it's all done. In xml file, I had folder structure of uploading file (saved in phones memory) and final folder structure in FS, where it should be uploaded.
In SEFP2, a turn on FAR manager (two-window file manager...something a bit like total commander), through F11 I choose SEFP2 plugin and I can see FS structure and upload camdriver easily by moving from one window to another.
But SEFP2 has still (at least) one problem at cid80 - you can upload files, but you can't read them.

Yap,l am interested too for this...have any of u notice that in dark photo flash led light is awful it is like yellow and white contrast...point it to the wall in the dark and u will see what l am talking about..now, l believe soon some one should be able to point us how to hack camera or sound drivers on Hazel, but for me personally only camera driver should be worth of hacking and developed.
