I wondered if anyone could tell me what the H in a box and two purple squares icons mean in the top left of my screen ????

Press quickly the power button and it will show you some options and the profiles. Do that and select the "normal" profile.

@tranced, W995 has no separate power button. Call-end key is used to shut it off and this key cannot be used to change profiles like on K850i, K810i etc which have power buttons on the top.

K850i is also an A2 phone 
.. But it has a dedicated power button on the top which can be used for many options like changing the profiles, muting the phone, locking the phone's keypad etc.. But W995 has no such button.. That's the reason
