A lot of my business associates still use the fax and many times, I receive faxes of charts or drawings.

All of which is possible with email of course, but yes someone else on esato was complaining about no fax alot of service engineers use this on their phones, it`s not available i`m afraid. p800 user manual suggests diverting fax calls to your office or a fax equiped phone.

Not sure where you are but I used to use a service with demon internet in uk where they allocated me a personal fax number that the person could fax to and their system converted it into an email and forwarded it on to me automatically. I have seen such services in a few countries.

Could you give us some URLs to providers of this fax rerouting service?

Thanks!

@jonnor

You are from Sweden right? Then you may be able to read about Telenor's and Netcom's fax services. They don't forward the fax to an email account, but you receive a SMS notice that you have received a fax. Then you call the fax service and forward the fax to a fax machine nearby.

As mentioned I used to use the service provided by demon internet (www.demon.net). It was called dfax but as I am no longer with them I am not sure if they still provide this service.
