Hi all. I have an unlocked AT&T T68i and I REALLY want to upgrade its firmware but I'm not sure if I should...

I have the right cable, I know all about purchasing logs, etc, but I'm really not sure if I should go ahead and do it. I know that there's a big chance that the phone might get messed up.

Currently my phone has the R3C firmware and the hardware rev is R6B. If I decide to do it, I think I'm gonna wait til R7 is finally out although if I just can't wait any more I might go ahead and flash it with R6.

I know about the bluetooth problems (important to me) as well as the low standby problems that surface after a phone is flashed but again, something inside me is willing to take that risk!

Then again I don't know if my phone's current firmware and hardware versions are gonna be ok with the new firmware.

Oh yeah. I read somewhere that if you only flash the AVR (or the ARM, don't remember) bluetooth isn't affected and you still get the latest firmware. Is this true?

Is there anyone who can suggest an absolutely safe way of successfully flashing the T68i?

Any ideas?!

Thanks!
