first of all i bought my se elm today..
About the camera, when im in the camera mode i cant zoom it and there is a message flashing, "Zoom not possible at this resolution. Select a smaller picture size.. i tried all the picture size but nothing happened.. i still cant zoom my camera..

About the messaging settings, i cant select the "My Own Word" setting. it says that Currently unavailable..

1 more thing i noticed about my handset.. the asterisk sign in the keypad is not well lit. its like have some low light, while others(1,2,3,4 and so on) have the same lighting..

Hi

You can just zoom while the vga resolution is selected.

Regarding the low light in the * key, I think it's normal. There's not a light under each button. I guess there are just 4 lights for all the keypad.

THX tranced.. if i selected VGA mode.. it does mean that the picture quality is not match in the 5mp pictures?

The quality in all the resolutions is the same. The only thing that changes is the size of the photo.

Thank you sir tranced for enlighten me about the keypads lighting.. this is very much like my handset.. i guess there is no problem with my phone.. thx sir.. sorry for this sir.. this is my first SE phone..

the digital zoom function is just useless why did they even had it before is beyond me

don't worry your not missing out on any thing by not having digital zoom in the ELM
