I have seen software for this for the Android phones. Is there a similar software available for Satio and Symbian?

I tried joikuspot but they only have support for samsung and nokia s60 platforms.

I tried the N97 version but it wouldn't install or wouldn't work, can't remember which.

Maybe some other version will work. Tranced, if you've found a version that works I'd love to know!

Bit frustrating that they don't support Satio as yet. That said I find Joikuspot a little flaky on s60. Works fine on WM though.

Yeah, no that version goes through the steps and then says "can't install". It also warns that joikuspot only available for Nokia and Samsung

Do you have a version working on Satio?

Okay, so I googled abit further and found the ipmart site with the links to the 2.5 modded version of joikuspot that runs on Satio. Then I tried to register on ipmart (to access the links) and before I know it I've got a bunch of adware and ransomware on my computer. I had no other websites open at the time (except ESATO).

So ipmart are infected with something. It dropped hotbar and ask.com on my computer, and a "Security Tool" popup in the system try and a proxy redirect so that no matter what page I went to it informed me I had numerous viruses and it could fix them for me if I bought their antivirus product (yea right).

So I restarted in safe mode and traced back the startup items and a dodgy internet explorer plugin that was also dropped on my system, back to various files and deleted everything, removed the references from the registry, then rebooted, changed the proxy back to default and downloaded combofix and scanned.

Now I'm back to normal, but not wanting to go back to ipmart to get those joikuspot 2.5 files.

Darkkrypt, any change you can supply your joikuspot install?

It fails to install. It says it's only for Nokia S60 devices (Isn't Satio that?), starts installing, and after 99.9% on the progress bar, it says "Install failed". The SonyEricsson U1 is mentioned on a couple of places on their web page, but almost always referred to as "Idou", i.e. the former name of Satio, used by SonyEricsson before the it was released. That says a bit about how updated they are.
Both the premium version and the lite version lacks support for Satio btw.

Thanks, much appreciated.

BTW, I do have firewall (software and hardware), and Anti-Virus but it still slipped past. Gotta blame the browser in this case (I didn't have all the latest updates). Nothing firewall nor AV can do if the browser has a hole in it's side like the crippled Bismarck before she sank!
