Somebody please help me. My Satio just suddenly has a PROBLEM

The phone will work just fine but when I leave the phone IDLE and the lights go out by the lights out time, then the screen goes black...........normally touching the screen or pressing any button will turn the Screen on again. But mine DOESN'T, it just remains black and the Screen won't turn on again. The phone is still On but the Screen won't turn back on.

Actually the functions are still working but I can't see ****

I don't even know what happened

Any solutions??

Please help me out ASAP

First you should try a restart. If that doesn't help, maybe SEUS will, if not, you should maybe go see a service point.

Yes, everytime I restart it, it works fine. And as long as I don't leave the Phone IDLE for the lights out to trigger the Screen will just behave normally. Actually I have had it on for several minutes even an hour (as long as I don't let the lights out to trigger)

But I can't be touching my phone every 10 seconds for that not to activate, that's a normal feature of EVERY phone to preserve battery life

I'll try re-installing the firmware on the phone to see if that fixes it

Do you think that maybe Hacking the phone with Hello OX2 or installing any unsigned application did this to my phone???

Or maybe installing the Vivaz Homescreen or Vivaz Media UI did this???

Also, the SE PC Suite has an option that says Repair, do you think that may work???

Please reply!
Thanks!

Well I can't say that those mods made your phone faulty, but there is a possibility, that the problem was caused by an application. If you try to repair it, that could also help, but maybe even a master reset would do!

You should try the following: make a backup to a memory card which does not have any backup from previous actoins, but only make backup of your contacts and messages.

If you have that, get PC Suite to repiar/update your phone, and after it's done, do a master reset.

Put the memory card back in, restore your data, and see if it helped or not.

You do realise I assume that Satio has a setting for autolock? If autolock is on (settings/phone/phone management/autolock), then your screen will lock automatically and you have to use the lock on the side of the phone to unlock the screen. If autolock is disabled, you can just touch the screen.

It sounds very much like you have autolock tunred on.

might be, if he has hacked and been playing. Personally I reckon sounds very much like he's turned on the autolock feature and doesn't realise about the lock slider key on the side of the satio!
