Hey guys, trying to load the generic X10A files from the 1st post using PC Companion. I wait till the smaller file downloads, then replace it- no problems. What I read in some of the posts in this forum is that you have to wait till the bigger file is like 99% finished, then replace it. However, when I go to replace it (I am watching the file progress, and I know that the file size is 119+k, so I try to time it to about 118k or so by refreshing view in that folder.) I go to replace the file, and Windows tells me "Folder Permissions Access Denied" .. I do not get that message when replacing the smaller file.. I hit "try again" continuously, till finally it replaces the file, but by then the update process has begun, and updates from the ATT 119k file. The generic file I am trying replace it with is only 111k. I am running Win 7 32bit, if that helps.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for the great tutorial.
