I have read over replies about this D-Link and other adaptors and have tried everything possible - am I being daft or is the 5 hours configuration time I have so far spent normal for ericsson or d-link products?
Ericsson T68i already paired with a HBH-30 Headset
Winxp SP2
Outlook 2000
BTW12216 drivers or 12215 or packaged Dlink drivers (presently got the 12216 drivers installed)
Latest sony software etc etc etc
Cannot get them passed the pairing stage
Can pair the phone (when phone accepts - not when phone initiates relevant? I dont know)
No services available on phone according to the BTW software (any version)
Configuration data lost evertime you go back into the BTW software.
Bluetooth Network adaptor sends packages but never receives any back.
Took all the software off and restarted with just the BTW12216 software - same problem.
XTND software has never found the phone
Ericcson software has never found the phone
(it seems pointing at the phone and screaming "Its there its there" does in no way help the process - neither does clicking the HBH-30 headset to see if its working on bluetooth, which it always is btw)
Nor does changing which modem ports the Phone Settings Manager looks at help in any way although people like suggesting that one.
At the end of the day it would be nice if it did what its suppose to, sync with outlook - thats all I want.
Personally I blame the D-Link hardware cause it was fairly cheap but I thought I'd ask the experts before I package this up and send it back in many many tiny pieces.

Hey,
Yeah, i got the same combination of hardware but had a bit more luck than you.
The widcomm software seems a little dodgy to me. I can get it to detect the phone, and pair, and then it discovers some of the avaliable services, but past that, i can't do anything.
The ericsson communications suite is useless, and i can't sync with outlook or use any of that.
I think i blame dlink as well, not sure tho..

Ah ha - Found it!
After installing this device on another XP machine finding it worked immediately using only the BTW12216 drivers I decided to harrass D-Link Technical Support - who solved the problem quite quickly.
By installing the software BTW12215 that came with the phone I was doomed from there on in - even uinstalling the software and re-installing the BTW12216 failed to work - I had to physically restore my system to before I installed the original software - Then install the BTW12216 software a fresh - Worked fine all services are now available. Hope this helps someone out there!

I have a T68m and a Dlink DBT-120 Bluetooth Adapter.
I can Pair them successfully. I can sync outlook contacts and calender.
I can send themes/ringtones/etc to my T68m.
BUT I CAN NOT SEND IMAGES FROM MY T68m TO MY PC!!!
Everytime i try, the phone just says Transfer Failed.
This is very frustrating. Dlink support are useless.
Someone please help me.
Maybe notify me by ICQ?
