With the X10's Android2.1 update just around the corner i'd say take the X10,its got the 8MP Camera and is getting the HD720p@25fps video rec. with constant autofocus in the update, with that its camera will be matched to the Vivaz.
X10 also has the larger display (4inch) with higher res (854x480)
Android is a fantastic OS with a huge app/gaming/modding community, at this point its better than Symbian s60v5 in all of those, not to mention having a better UI.
X10 also has more RAM and a faster CPU.
IMO the X10 is much better than the Vivaz, i also had considered the Vivaz for a short period of time, but got the X10, and recently played on a Vivaz, the Vivaz was decent but the X10 whiped the floor with it.

Indeed!!

No contest here, the X10 does wipe the floor with the Vivaz plus you won't be getting any support from SE on the Vivaz now that they have dumped Symbian.

If you have to have Symbian then there's one phone that would suit your tastes and that is the N8. The UI still sucks as gamarena and a few other review sites found out but it is your best bet if you are a Symbian fan.

Yeah, the OP posted in the wrong section. Our moderators are sleeping on the job, this should've been moved

@SAARAN
The X10 family of phones plus the X8 will receive the 2.1 upgrade at the end of this month.

Hi, are you defiantly going for a Sony Ericsson? Because asking people here they're blinded by their SE love-affair. Seeing as camera wasn't part of your specification, there is no need in going for the X10. I'd recommend an HTC phone. They've realised a whole range of Android phones and thus have more experience in creating the best. Whereas the X10 is Sony Ericsson's first go at it. You wont be stuck with 2.1 (which is what SE likely will only update to) when Android 2.2 is already out. http://www.htc.com

The only reason I can see for sticking with Sony Ericsson is if you like them as a brand, otherwise ditch them, and go for something better.

There is nothing as irritating as ignorant posts like this one!!!

You come to this thread and insult people (in this thread) without reading the contents and understanding the context of the thread. What is your problem?

Did anyone in this thread claim SE were/are the best phone manufacturer? Did SAARAN ask about any other phones except the Vivaz and X10? Learn to read and understand first before you brand people 'blinded by loyalty'!!!

If SAARAN wanted any other phone(s) he would've included it (them). Not that there is anything wrong with suggesting any other manufacturer but do it considering the topic and respect the members who replied in THIS THREAD!

@SAARAN

The X10 has excellent hardware comparable to any other phone out there. If you like multitouch then you will miss it in the X10. I feel it is a good phone and likely to be even better when it gets 2.1 at the and of this month. We haven't heard anything from SE whether it will be upgraded to 2.2 so if you decide to buy it then keep in mind that it may or may not receive the 2.2 upgraded.

Good luck!
