Have you tried to reflash via SEUS?? You won't need the phone on for that just connect to SEUS & press the back key when plugging in the USB lead

Have you only just bought it?? If so return it to the store get it swapped over for another one or a different model. I am not sure how to show you tutorials on screen for updating software or reflashing. It's a little quiet tonight on here but someone will be along to suggest something or help better than me

I would recommend you what Bonovox said and/or perform a reset to the phone. Also, you could try to update the phone to the latest version that
has for the x10 mini.

As long as he's downloaded it he will just have to run it and voila. It'll tell him what to do. SEUS will do the rest of the job.

thanks for the replies guys,
@tranced, how do i download the updates? have never updated phone and until yesterday didnt think would have to but it told me to via some message in notifications so followed instructions to plug it in to computer etc and it freezes so i cant do nothing....
@bonovox, the phone is 6weeks old so fairly new, i thought the cable might be dodgy but i use it in charger to charge the phone and no problems, and it isnt my computer as i have 2 laptops, a netbook and macbook pro at my disposal at the moment and its the same on all of them...
