Try using the SEUS program instead of the PCC

I can't get neither SEUS or PCC to update/repair ...
I follow the instructions but when I have to hold BACK button and insert the USB cable the update don't start ... my computer freezes.
I already tried other USB ports ...
I updated my p990i months ago this way so I must work ... are there leftover files I should delete?
::edit::
this post I found on the internet is identical to my problem:
The computer allowed me to go through the process of selecting the phone, and then getting the screen where it asks you to hold 'C' and insert USB. The PC recongnises the phone for a moment, this is confirmed by a pop up on screen showing that a new device has been connected. The PC then froze, and has done everytime since at the same point.
::edit²:: I tried to update it on my brothers pc and there the update in downloading woohoo ANDROID 2.1 !!!
but I'm still searching for a solution on my pc ... it must be something with the usb drivers I presume?

First of all, don't have PCC and SEUS installed simultaneously on your PC. Theý may have drivers that interfere with each other. Try to uninstall both and then just install SEUS. If it still freezes then you probably have some conflict between SE's own drivers and something else installed on your PC.
