In the beginning I had not much love for my x10 mini pro (coming from a p990i).

But now I know the phone more and with the android 2.1 update + cool applications from the android market I can say:

YES, this phone rocks!

but I must admit I took me almost 2 months to get this far

grtz

I never got the chance to own one since after the X10i I bought from timtechs I have replaced it with the Galaxy S. My friend told me though that his X10 mini pro rocks and how the regular X10 mini can't compare to it

I'm loving 2.1 so much.... I can leave wifi and GPS on ALL DAY and it hardly eats up any battery! Camera's Twilight mode improved too!

3G/HSPA still chews up a lot, so I still need Juice Defender for that. But it's so nice to be able to actually leave on all the functions of my phone now!

Not on my non-PRO mini. Even with around 30 min talk per charge I still get 3 solid days on a single charge even with 3G+Data enabled. Depends lot on the signal quality you get (I guess mine is much better than yours).

Hey Arne, ya, I've noticed very good battery improvement... I've gotten rid of Juice Defender and I seem to get the same battery life anyway.

I have to note that I am on push email for 3 of my GMail accounts, as well as Facebook & Twitter updates. Kik and YM are also active. I get quite a few emails per day so it does eat up battery quite a bit. Calling isn't as bad as anything else that needs the screen.

Autosync for all Calendar accounts and full contact sync is also active.

So my data connection is in use most of the time.

I guess if I disable background data, that would really extend battery life.

It's nice cuz the 2.1 update has really boosted the usable battery life of the phone.

I still need ATK however, I tried uninstalling it but with the background services, it really helps keep some of them in check.
