Hi,
Does anyone here know anyone in the uk who repairs Sony Ericsson phones?
My 11month old T68m has developed a fault.
I switch it on.
LEDs light, display lights.
Insert SIM (or enter PIN if SIM fitted)
Wait 10 seconds.
LEDs go out, display goes out.
Phone automatically re-boots.

etc, etc

If I leave it, it will continue to do this over and over until I remove the battery or switch it off. It's my main phone an it has all my numbers in it. I've had it apart and cleaned it, no signs of any dry joints etc on PCB. It's out of warranty as I changed the dim orange LEDs for blue ones about 9 months ago.
Can anyone help?

I use J.A.H Services, 18,Parkside Centre, Potters way, Southend. TEL.01702461106 They are an SE service centre & other makes & i think they take in private work.
Why not swop the keypad lights back to original & get a warranty repair.

Thought about changing leds back but as soon as they take the front cover off it will be obvious someone has had a 'little fiddle' with it.
cheers for the number.

Oh yea they will notice but it could have been done at an earlier service it`s worth a try, if they say no way then ask the price.
Anyway good luck, ...i`ve noticed my p800 has tamper proof stickers over the screw heads.
