Bookmark topic
Hi i have recently used the
My Location feature on my SE K800i in India. It worked fine. (i mean i showd 10~20mts approximation) but recently i formated and had a complete FLASHING done and now the
gMaps says My Location is not supported on my Device
Now i have Europe FS. i think i used ASIA FS recently not sure. i didnt find the ASIA FS so i used the EUROPE now.
Is it really that way ??
Or am i missing something ?
I need this feature so badly !!

You reflashed a different firmware on your phone? That may be the problem. Yes, certain apps built into the phone are FW specific, not necessarily their function, but just to make sure that they are not being pirated.
The Google Maps/Locations you may have had may only be available to your original firmware.

as he said, these drivers are not in the firmwere you flashed on, to avoid piratism. But if you still have google mams, even it's not tracking your vay, you can track it by yourselve!

Either that or find a Google Maps that's specific to the firmware you used. Since the K800 is not a completely open system, Google Maps is a built in feature and isn't meant to be modified by the end user so easily
